This business of compulsory surrogacy reminds me of the TV show "The Handmaid's Tale"!

Aside from that, I wonder how many times we do feel torn in following the Lord's leading. (Or at least, what we imagine it to be.) Even to the point of tears.

Was that a good show? I’ll check it out, if so. I read the book but didn’t know if I wanted to see it on screen. As for feeling torn in the Lord’s leading, I’ve certainly shed tears over it, always nice to see it in hindsight and grow in trust.

It's grim, but very interesting. If you read the book, you have the basic tenor. From what I understand, the show has a season or so after the storyline in the book ends. Of course, books and tv shows/movies rarely line up precisely. But check it out if you have the time!

As I read, I could easily imagine Sarai’s conversation with Abram. I especially enjoyed her memory of their encounter with Pharaoh. Yet the way in which Sarai instructs Hagar, felt like the cliffhanger of a beloved series! Might you satisfy our curiosity with a Part 2?

Maybe! I was actually toying with that idea already. You’re right, there’s just so much to the story. Thanks for your thoughtful comment!
